Watch Focus - Coronation of King Charles III: Lift Up a Standard

Part 1 Coronation of King Charles III

On Saturday, May 6th, King Charles III will be officially crowned as King of the United Kingdom and the 14 other Commonwealth realms. We pray blessings on his coronation as Great Britain has been a special friend and ally of the U.S. through World War I, World War II, the War on Terror, and beyond. Pray that God will guide the new king and give him divine strength and wisdom to keep their nation safe and prosperous. Declare that in this time of new beginning, the Lord would give an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and revival in that land. May the British remain free to be a true friend of Israel. May King Charles III be blessed by God and successful. We join in saying, “God save the King.”

Part 2 Stop the Invasion - Lift Up a Standard

High numbers of illegal immigrants are expected to move across our southern border this week. Declare that the Lord will fight on the behalf of the citizens of our nation as he did for Deborah and Barak against Sisera. “The Lord chose a new species of war, and Himself subverted the gates of the enemy,” Judges 5:8 (Translated from the Latin Vulgate). “They fought from Heaven: the stars in their courses fought against Sisera,” Judges 5:20 (also from the Latin Vulgate). Drug cartels engage in massive trafficking of women and children for profit resulting in over 80,000 missing children. Felons and nefarious persons enter into our nation leaving our safety and security in danger. Many facets of our society such as healthcare, welfare, housing, education, law enforcement, and immigration services are overburdened and overrun. Pray for justice and truth regarding the political agendas of both parties refusing to deal with this crisis that is endangering and compromising American families. May the Lord reveal the truth behind the corruption in government, media, judicial systems, financial services, and others. Proverbs 29:2, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan.” Lord, give us leaders such that it would be to your glory to give us the victory through them!

2 Chronicles 20:15, “And he said, ‘Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you: Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.’”

Matthew 23:11, “But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant.”

1 Timothy 2:1-2, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.”

Psalm 37:39-40, "The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in the time of trouble. And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked..."

Acts 2:17, “‘And it shall come to pass in the last days,’ says God, ‘That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh.’”
