Watch Focus: Return to Our Founding Covenants

Join us as we continue to fast and pray during our 21-day corporate fast, seeking the Lord afresh for ourselves, for our families, for our churches, and for our nation. Sign up at chavdaministries.org/fast.

Deuteronomy 4:5-8, “See, I have taught you statutes and rules, as the Lord my God commanded me, that you should do them in the land that you are entering to take possession of it. Keep them and do them, for that will be your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples, who, when they hear all these statutes, will say, ‘Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.’ For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as the Lord our God is to us, whenever we call upon him? And what great nation is there, that has statutes and rules so righteous as all this law that I set before you today?”

Beginning with the Puritans and the Mayflower Compact, the Lord ordained for this nation to have righteous statues and laws that would make us great. Pray that we honor the wisdom of God and return to the founding covenants which the Lord set before our land: the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. Ask the Lord to remember His covenant promises to Abraham on our behalf. Claim your city and neighborhood for the Lord Jesus Christ. Rebuke division and bind the powers of darkness that stir up hate, bigotry, fear, and racism. May the Lord use the church as a point of contact for revival and righteousness in every home. Pray that God will heal every wound and make us one through His Spirit. Speak shalom over our cities that are often impacted by gangs, drug cartels, violence, and massive increases in addiction and homelessness. Change the spiritual atmosphere by releasing praise and worship. Bind away satanic strongholds and dividing tongues from the ears and minds of our children and society. Pray for Spirit-anointed restoration and reconciliation to come. May we truly be one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Psalm 2:8 “Ask of me and I will give you the nations as your inheritance and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possessions.”

Psalm 133:1, “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!”

Acts 17:26, “And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings.”

Jeremiah 29:7, “And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the Lord for it; for in its peace you will have peace.”

Malachi 4:5-6 "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”

Jeremiah 31:17, “There is hope in your future, says the Lord, that your children shall come back to their own border.”

Humbly pray that God’s mercy will restore and strengthen the U.S. economy. Some signs of easing inflation are starting to show, but troubles with the banking sector and real estate markets have increased uncertainty in the economic outlook.
“The truth and effectiveness of the cross is simple enough for a child to enter fully. What actually happened when God reconciled the world to Himself is a mystery we shall keep discovering for all eternity.
We come to the holiest of weeks and to Palm Sunday with honor and gratitude to Jesus our King. As Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey, He was about to offer Himself as our Atoning Lamb of God.
