Watch Focus - I Am the Light of the World

John 8:12, “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.’”

We end our 40-day corporate fast with thanksgiving and praise to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The end of our fast culminates along with the final days of the Feast of Tabernacles. During that season, Jesus declared to the woman who was freed of the sin of adultery and to all the people that He is the light of the world. We rejoice that we have been set free out of darkness and into His marvelous light. It was during the Feast of Sukkot that every home in Jerusalem had the light from the temple falling across their doorways. For every household and for our nation, we declare that God is healing our land and sending His shield of protection over us, over Israel, and over all who look to the Lord. We give thanks for every answered prayer the Lord gives now and in the coming days. We thank the Lord for candidates of God's choice who will truly protect this nation, her liberties, and biblical values will be victorious in our upcoming elections. We press in with highest praises for God’s mighty breakthrough for our families, our cities, our churches, and our nation. Let God arise, and let His enemies be scattered!

Psalm 100:4, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.”

Psalm 22:3, “But You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel.”

Psalm 149:6, “May the praise of God be in their mouths and a double-edged sword in their hands.”

Psalm 106:1, “O give thanks to the LORD; for He is good; for His mercy endures forever.”

Psalm 100:1-5, “Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!  Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.  Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves.  We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.  Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.  For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations.”

Ephesians 5:19-20, “… speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 Thessalonians 5:18, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Revelation 4:11, “You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created.”
