Watch Focus: It is Finished! Christ is Risen Indeed!

“The truth and effectiveness of the cross is simple enough for a child to enter fully. What actually happened when God reconciled the world to Himself is a mystery we shall keep discovering for all eternity. Like the cascading force unleashed in the splitting of an atom, the action of Calvary will be ever unfolding in power. The glory of the cross is an explosive, eternal, energy-creating, continually unfolding revelation of beauty. The cross is the glory of God. In it we behold Him as He really is. Calvary must not be an aversion, or a thing of the past. For as long as we have mortal flesh, as long as we seek His power, we will find Him at the cross.

Because the cross is the singular demonstration of the overwhelming mercy of God, it remains the key to experiencing the glory of God. The cross reveals God as He is. It shows Him perfect, self-giving, irresistible, humble, absolutely omnipotent in power—and completely obsessed with His love for us.”

“It is finished!” was Jesus’ great shofar call that rocked the cosmos, split the earth, spoiled the powers of sin and darkness, and gives deliverance from death and condemnation to all who love Him. As we remember the cross this Good Friday and celebrate the Easter/Passover season, we embrace the power of His word: It is Finished!

Let the King of Glory come in! Proclaim the glory of our risen Savior. We welcome You, Jesus, radiant in glory. May the Lord bring a fresh wave of glory over us this Easter. May the truth of the resurrection of Christ impact and transform our lives, our homes, our families, and our churches this Easter. You have defeated principalities and powers and have been given the Name above every other name. May we be radiant with joy, hope, and victory. Anoint us this season to usher in revival and bind back the defeated powers of the evil one. We pray that salvation and deliverance will come to every nation, every tribe, and every language through Jesus, our Passover Lamb. Behold the Lamb of God. He is risen indeed!

Colossians 1:15-20 (Message Bible), “We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God’s original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, he organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body. He was supreme in the beginning and—leading the resurrection parade—he is supreme in the end. From beginning to end he’s there, towering far above everything, everyone. So spacious is he, so expansive, that everything of God finds its proper place in him without crowding. Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe—people and things, animals and atoms—get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death, his blood that poured down from the cross.”

1 Corinthians 15:20-22, “But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.”

Romans 8:11, “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

Revelation 1:5-6, “ . . . Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler over the kings of the earth. To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood . . . to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever.”

Exodus 12:3, “Every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.”

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and Israel

As the Passover Feast began this week, rocket attacks directed at Israel came from Hamas in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip. The Israeli defense forces are on high alert during Passover to prevent further attacks. Unrest and rioting continues in Jerusalem. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel. We pray for God’s peace to reign over Israel, her borders, the cities--that God’s supernatural peace will bind the spirit of hatred and antichrist. May God post angels at the borders of Israel.

Psalm 122:6 "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, may they prosper who love you;"

Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Amos 9:14,15, "I will bring back the captives of My people Israel...I will plant them in their land, and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them, says the Lord your God;”
