Watch Focus: Resurrection Glory

Luke 24:32-34, “And they said to one another, ‘Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?’ So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together, saying, ‘The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!’”

Jesus appeared to the two walking on the road to Emmaus after His resurrection (Luke 24), and they were transformed by His glory. The Lord is with us as He was with them. May the glory of His resurrection transform and refresh us, our families, our churches, and our cities. As their hearts burned within them, we pray for a spirit of burning to come upon us from the supernatural fire of the Holy Spirit. May awakening, revival, and restoration come upon our land. We draw from the wells of salvation with joy, worship, thanksgiving, and praise. Whatever the devil has stolen from us, we are taking it back, because Jesus is risen indeed. Every knee bows and every tongue confesses that Jesus is Lord!

Isaiah 12:30, “Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.”

Philippians 2:9-11, “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

Romans 8:11, “But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.”

Pray for Economic Recovery

Economists are saying that the U.S. economy is heading toward a recession. Markets and banking systems across the world are being destabilized as a result of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine. In this season where we just concluded Passover, we plead the blood of Jesus the Lamb of God and cry out for our children’s sake. We pray for mercy for our economy and for a quick recovery. Restore us, Lord, so we can be merciful to the poor across the earth and be a friend to Israel.

Joel 2:25-27, “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, . . . You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the Lord your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame. Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel: I am the Lord your God And there is no other. My people shall never be put to shame.”

Psalm 37:25, “I have been young, and now I am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.”

Proverbs 3:9-10, “Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.”
