Weekly Fast Focus: 2022 Elections and God’s Chosen Leaders

This week, we fast and pray for our nation’s government and leaders, and intercede for our upcoming National elections on November 8th. May godly men and women flood the polls during this election. We pray that candidates of God's choice who will truly protect this nation, her liberties, and biblical values will be victorious in every state and city. Lord, give us a resounding majority of lawmakers nationally in congress and locally who will enable national and local financial integrity, employ policies that would restore our economy, truly act in defense for our freedoms, and honor our Judeo-Christian foundations. We pray that the mid-term elections later this year will be free of fraud and that voters will have a renewed mind, washed in the revelation of Jesus Christ.

2 Chronicles 20:15, “Thus says the Lord to you: ‘Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.”

Isaiah 45:22-24, “Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other. I have sworn by Myself; The word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness, And shall not return, That to Me every knee shall bow, Every tongue shall take an oath. He shall say, ‘Surely in the Lord I have righteousness and strength. To Him men shall come, And all shall be ashamed Who are incensed against Him.’”

We agree and bind back satanic forces of corruption and manipulation seeking destruction for this nation and declare, “Let God arise! Let His enemies be scattered!” We bind the evil spirit of witchcraft and rebellion trying to replace and destroy God-given authority and identity. Together, we welcome the Holy Spirit to flood our land and move on our nation. We exalt the name of Jesus over our country, our cities, our churches, our schools, our businesses, and our families. Lord, drive our every power which substitutes humanism and demonic Marxist philosophies for Your word and truth. Root out the Jezebels trying to defeat Godly leadership. Lord, awaken this nation and release on us an Elijah anointing to break the yoke of the spirit of witchcraft. Unshroud and unveil dark forces seeking to rob You of Your inheritance in America. Unseat evildoers in every arena of our society and from the top down turn our land back to You!

Proverbs 8:15, “By me kings reign, and rulers decree justice.”

1 Timothy 2:1-4, “Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth."

Isaiah 54:17, “’No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,’ says the Lord.”

Psalm 75:7, "But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and exalts another."

Micah 5:12, “I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.”

1 Kings 21: 20-21, 25, “So Ahab said to Elijah, ‘Have you found me, O my enemy?’And he answered, ‘I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do evil in the sight of the Lord: Behold, I will bring calamity on you.
