Weekly Watch Focus: Let the Fire Fall

FRIDAY, November 4, 2011.
We as believers realize that at the root of our present national malaise, economic recession, and moral breakdown is spiritual decay. Let us fervently pray in a spiritual awakening. We see in our history the awesome results of the first great awakening that strengthened every strategic area that made this nation great. We pray, let Holy Spirit fire fall on ournation and on all nations that are hungry for His visitation.

Let us remember to also pray for the persecuted Christian believers in Egypt, Iran, Pakistan, and across the Islamic world. May they be floodedwith the power of Revival.

Acts 2:2-4 “And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to themdivided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And theywere all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

Is 64:1-2, “Oh that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at your presence…to make your name known to your adversaries, and that the nations might tremble at your presence!”

Ps. 85:6-7 Will You not revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord, and grant us Your salvation.

Ps. 104:30 You send forth Your Spirit, they are created; and You renew the face of the earth.

1 Kings 18:36-38 And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, thatElijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel…and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.” Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice… Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!”
